It's easy to feel downhearted when you miss a workout, but these things happen. Whether through illness or just because of logistical challenges, we will all miss the occasional workout.
Although you may want to try and 'catch up' on any missed workouts, this is actually one of the worst things that you can do. We'll already be putting the body under strain with your training program, so allowing time to recover is crucial. On top of that, trying to catch up on missed workouts and complete your scheduled workouts is a huge logistical challenge, and quickly becomes unsustainable.
The best thing to do after a setback or a break from training is to just jump back in with your next scheduled workout. It may be a little more challenging as you may have lost your momentum somewhat, but you'll be surprised at how quickly you're able to get back into the swing of things.
