Let's face it, working out can sometimes be boring. Howver, the way to see results with strength training is to repeat the same protocol week on week.
By doing this and tracking any changes as time goes on, you will be able to see a marginal improvement in your performance. Generally you will do this on the same protocol for 4-8 weeks (and, if undertaking an intense strength training protocol, you would take an Active Rest Week before starting a new protocol). Changing the workouts week on week would mean that you never know if you are making linear improvements because there is no previous data to track against. I know that this can feel monotonous but we need to find enjoyment in the progression rather than the diversity.
